How to access blocked sites or change your IP - A few ways

This post, as the title says, is all about accessing blocked websites. You might need to access websites that are blocked in your school, work or even your country.

A simple way is to change your ip. Change your address or identity that is. You can find your ip by typing ipconfig in command prompt. Open cmd by searching in the start menu or by typing cmd in the Run window.
Another way of finding your ip is by simply going to the website http://whatismyip.com or by typing ip in google search.

There are numerous ways but listed here are a few of the best ways.

1. Tor Browser - A browser made for you to browse anonymously! It hides your ip thus enabling you to access any website. The speed while using this browser can be slow but it can change your ip or give you a new identity by simply clicking on a button.. Try it here - Tor Browser

2. Hotspot shield - This is a free software (elite version also available) that enables you to change your identity or ip. It silently runs in the background doing all the work for you. Based on vpn (Virtual private network) . Try it here - Hotspot Shield

There are many other ways like using a proxy in your browser or using the many proxy sites (can be found on google) but the above mentioned ways work the best for accessing blocked websites and changing your ip.

Best Budget Dac - Audio

A DAC or a digital to analog converter , as the name implies, converts a digital signal to an analog signal. We will be focusing on the audio part of it, more specifically the best budget audio dac for the money.

To keep it relatively simple, you can use the dac with your pc or laptop via USB. It will give you better sound quality than the onboard sound. Think of it as an external (most of the times portable)
sound card but only better. A dac can help you realize the potential of your iems, headphones or your speakers for that matter. It can act as a headphone amp for your costly headphones..

So would you choose an sound card or a dac?..Well its a matter of personal preference but I would personally go for a dac

  • Portability
  • Sound card being directly connected to the motherboard introduces some noise into the circuit

So lets start with the best DAC (Audio) for the money..in no order

1. ODAC by Jdslabs

An audiophile budget favourite. Sound Quality is superb. Very small. Buy the Objective2 + Odac combo if budget permits. It doesn't have a lot of inputs but it is absolutely noiseless and ofcourse has great sound quality.

2. Schiit Modi

Another great performer, cheaper than the odac and has been getting great reviews ever since it came out.

3. Fiio e17/e11

Fiio has always been a recommended brand when it comes to headphone amplifiers or dacs.
The e17 is a portable amplifier + USB DAC for audio.
The e11 is just a portable headphone amplifier.

4. Dragonfly v1.2

Looks like a usb flash but it is much much more than that. Superb audio quality and portable. You can't go wrong with this one.

5. Nuforce Icon udac-3

Right from the udac, nuforce has been delivering excellent products such as the udac-2 and the udac3. Buy the udac 3 if the budget permits else the udac2 is also a great buy.

Thank You.
